Here is my version of the sketch for Mojo Monday. This is my first time to play and I had a good time. I have also figure out how to connect my DSLR camera to my Mac so I can post better pictures. TFL.

French Foliage
I used the color coach for this card and really like the combination. The stamp set, French Foliage, is versatile for backgrounds and layering. It has become one of my seasonal favorites.

This is a sweet card I made for a friends grand daughters first birthday. There is a yellow button inside of the oval in the left corner.
The picture doesn't do this card justice. I am working on taking better display photos, and now that the cruise season is over in Seattle, I will have more time. Thanks for looking.

Texture
This was a fun card I made a while ago but forgot to share with you. Hope you enjoy it, too.

Distressed Kit
I love the distress kit from this years catalog. I used it for this card and I can tell you it is hard to know when to stop. I used the tea stain and the mahogany on this card. The colors add depth to the card.
If you don't have the distress kit yet you can click on my Stampin' Up! website and place an order. Join in the fun.

Anniversary Card
This is the card I made for my husband for our 41st anniversary. Gary is the love of my life and a wonderful man. I enjoyed making the card and he enjoyed receiving it.

Today I was able to finish some cards I had started at one of our stamp clubs. Sometimes I am having so much fun talking and snacking that I don't finish all the projects. Does that ever happen to you? I come away from those evenings as happy and satisfied as if I had finished everything. For me, the time together to share and get new ideas is an achievement in itself.
This next card is one of the stamp sets and wheels from the new catalog, Morning Cup and Take a Sip. Living in the Seattle area this set speaks to a lot of my friends.
Thanks for looking.

Monday Stamping
It has cooled down here and is a comfortable day to make cards. I have been playing with my new stamps and DSP. Hope you enjoy.
This card does have a piece of retired ribbon. I couldn't help myself because it went so well with the rest of the card.

I get to create again
After a very long creative absence, I finally got to make some cards yesterday. My jobs have sucked up all my time until this week. I am so happy to be relaxing with stamps, paper, ink, embellishments, and friends. Life is good.
Here are the two cards I made yesterday:

Oh My Goodness
I have spent my spare time the past few days drooling over the new 2010/2011 catalog. Boy am I glad I recruited someone in March and earned a copy of the new catalog early.
The art work is beautiful and inspiring. The colors are on trend in typical SU! fashion. New stamps and accessories to get your creative juices flowing. I can't give you specifics, but then you knew that. I can encourage you to set some quality time aside to go through each page once, twice, and then a third time and to look through sketches and create new ones of your own to use when all of your new items arrive. You won't be disappointed!
