Watercolor Wishes Kit

These are some cards I made from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit item number140406. I used the suggestions that come with the kit for the first card and the bottom two cards. The two cards in the middle used base cards from the kit and DSP embellishments from some retired paper I have in my stash.

I have a craft trailer where I keep most of my supplies, but I keep this kit box and a few supplies near one of my living room chairs so I can work on something while I watch TV.

With Sympathy

This month has been difficult for several of my friends. I have made several sympathy cards to send condolences and prayers to these friends. The card above is one of them.

For this card I used the Irresistibility Floral DSP and sponged it with Tip Top Taupe. I embellished the card using a stamp and die cuts from the Flourishing Phrases bundle.

Paper: In Colors and Designer

Today I want to share with you some of the new paper SU! has this year. It is wonderful.

The Woodland embossing folder is back with this catalog. This is the folder so many wanted from the Holiday catalog and because of the demand SU! brought it back.

Blessing card

I am blessed to be surrounded with wonderful family and friends. One of my goals this year is to send out cards to them occasionally just to let them know they are important in my life. This is one of the cards I have made for this purpose and it will go to one of my longest friends.

This card uses the same Rose Garden thinlet I used for yesterdays card. This time I layered the die cuts and used patterned paper as the fill in for the rose. I like the versatility of these stamp and die sets.

Sympathy Card

I made this card for a friend who just lost her husband after 26 years of marriage.
I made a stencil out of the Rose Garden Thinlet. I sponged a combo of Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach for the rose and Cucumber Crush for the leaves. I then added some sparkle to the rose and leaves with an aqua painter, which added dimension.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love You Lots

This cute card showcases the "Love You Lots" host set from the new catalog and one of the new In Colors, Emerald Envy. (Yes that is my reflection in the gold mirror-like background.) The elephant in this set makes me smile each time I look at it.

More Paper Pumpkin

Here is another quick card from the June Paper Pumpkin kit. The "Happy" and the stars are part of the kit. I placed a piece of gold foil behind the triangles for interest on this one. The inside sentiment is "Everything" from the stamps included in the kit.

I'm Back

Hello everyone. As you can see, I have been gone for quite a while. I didn't stop stamping just sharing my creations.

It will soon be time for the new catalog so I thought I would get back to posting and sharing with you.

I have also subscribed to Paper Pumpkin and am having a good time with the monthly package. The card below is one of my creations from the latest kit.
The yellow "swish" is from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit and everything else is from this months kit. I enjoy receiving a new kit each month with items to make quick projects. I will be posting a link that you can click on to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by.....Michelle

The Joy of dies

Christmas is my favorite time of year and all the Christmas dies that are available now help make my season bright.

This card uses a die from CheeryLynn and accents from Stampin' Up! Once I learned to use waxed paper between the die and the paper it made the intricate dies much easier to use and to get all the the design out in one piece.

This card uses a die I purchased from HSN for the Holly Branch and part of a retired Stampin' Up! die from a couple years ago.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Happy crafting!

Christmas Gift Card and Treat Holders

I am enjoying the envelope liner dies that Stampin' Up! offers. I have been searching the web for different ways to use them and came across this option on several blogs. I don't know who posted the idea first so don't know who to give credit to, sorry.

These holders use the medium envelope liner. I use the red sticky tape to seal the edges because it holds so well. These are fun to embellish and a good way to use up "not current" supplies I have on hand.

This little cutie uses the small liner. It is a good size for the small candy canes or the cute little coffee cup gift card that Starbucks is offering this Christmas season.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Happy crafting!

I made this card to give to my Mom. I am treating her to a cruise next year and I will use this card to let her know when we will be sailing. I think she will like it and the gift.

I bought this little window die a while back and finally got a chance to use it. This wasn't a fast card to make but I did have a good time doing it.

Just Because

I like the new DSPs in the holiday catalog and decided to use one of them for todays card. I think it works well for all season cards as well as Christmas cards and I will have to stock up on it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi

I like this stamp for its size and versatility. I think it works well with the Label Collection die. I used the die to cut the front of the card as well as making the top of the base card. Add a liitle bling and it is all set.

Thankful for You

Today I have another gingham card for you. The center of the yellow bow and the blue disc are  studded with a Candy Dot. These dots are among my favorite things from the 2013-14 catalog because they add that little extra touch. I haven't used them with the brads because there is enough "stickiness" on the back to just place them on the card.

Gingham is so versatile

There is such a freshness to gingham and it blends well with so many other backgrounds.
I had a good time making these cards and will be using the Bow Die from the Holiday catalog on many a project.
Thanks for stopping by.

Cheery card

I'm enjoying some of the new items from the upcoming holiday catalog. The envelope liner and the chevron punch add some nice touches to my creations.
I think it is fun to put a number of items on my workspace and then design a card around what I have chosen. That's what I did for this card and I like the results.
Hope you enjoy.

Time to Celebrate

I continue to enjoy the new In Colors for my card making.

Many of my friends are in Salt Lake City for the 25th Anniversary celebration and Stampin' Up! convention. I know they will all have a wonderful time and bring back lots and lots of ideas to share with those of us who didn't go. Celebrate well!
